Requesting a Transcript:
Students will request transcripts through “Xello”. Students should go to the TCHS Homepage and click on “Clever” and then “Xello”. Once there, click on “college planning” and “add a college” to request a transcript. Click Here to view step by step instructions for requesting a transcript through Xello.
Students applying through Common App will need to link their Common App to their Xello account. Click Here to see how to Link Common App and Xello!
NOTE: Not all colleges want a transcript in the application stage. Several of the state universities in Florida require a self reporting of grades. We recommend using the transcript screen in HAC or requesting a hard copy of your transcript to assist you in completing your self report. Keep in mind that if you attend the school then you will still send a final transcript at the end of the year that will need to match your self report.
State University Self Reporting Links (State Universities not linked below still use traditional transcript submission):
Requesting Letters of Recommendation:
Students must request letters of recommendation through Xello for current school employees. Click Here to see how to request a teacher recommendation letter in Xello!
Financial Aid:
All students seeking financial assistance for college should plan to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Steps for Completing the FAFSA:
- Students and parents should both start here (this step can be completed at any time): Create your FSA ID
- Once students have their FSA ID, they should complete the FAFSA for the school year that they plan to receive aid. The FAFSA for the 25-26 school year is currently open and available here: Apply for FAFSA!
