Students who meet these requirements but do not pass the required assessments will receive a certificate of completion, which is not equivalent to a standard high school diploma. Passing scores for the statewide assessments are determined by the State Board of Education (SBE) and defined in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flrules.org\/gateway\/ruleNo.asp?id=6A-1.09422\">Rule 6A-1.09422<\/a>, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.).<\/p><table width=\"603\"><tbody><tr><td width=\"195\"><strong>Required Test<\/strong><\/td><td width=\"103\"><strong>Passing Level\u00a0<\/strong><strong>(Level 1-5)<\/strong><\/td><td width=\"119\"><strong>Scale Score<\/strong><\/td><td width=\"187\"><strong>Scale Score Range<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td width=\"195\">Grade 10 FAST English Language Arts (ELA) Reading Assessment<\/td><td width=\"103\">Level 3<\/td><td width=\"119\">Scale score 247<\/td><td width=\"187\">Scale Score Range (179-308)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td width=\"195\">B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 EOC Assessment<\/td><td width=\"103\">Level 3<\/td><td width=\"119\">Scale Score 400<\/td><td width=\"187\">Scale Score Range (325-475)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p><strong>Concordant and Comparative Scores<\/strong><br \/>A student can also meet assessment graduation requirements by earning a concordant or comparative score as specified in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flrules.org\/gateway\/ruleNo.asp?id=6A-1.09422\">Rule 6A-1.09422<\/a>, F.A.C.
